Membrane Element Design
YIME brand industrial membrane elements are designed with a spiral-wound structure. They consist of a central water collection tube, multiple membrane bags, and grid-like feed water flow channels between the membrane bags. Each membrane bag is made of two membrane sheets placed back-to-back, with a permeate flow channel fabric in between and a grid-like feed water flow channel on the front. The three edges of the membrane bag are sealed with adhesive, while the fourth edge is open to the perforated permeate collection tube.
This design gives the membrane elements strong resistance to fouling, reduces replacement costs, and the simple external piping design makes it easy to clean and maintain.
