The Silver Ion Concentration Membrane is a specialized membrane material designed for the separation and concentration of silver ions from silver-containing wastewater. It is mainly used in silver resource recovery projects in industries such as electroplating, electronics manufacturing, LED production, and precious metal processing.

Its core function is to selectively retain and concentrate silver ions through membrane separation technology while allowing most of the water to pass through the membrane. This reduces the volume of liquid requiring subsequent treatment and lowers the overall cost of silver recovery.

Working Principle

In a silver recovery system, the Silver Ion Concentration Membrane is typically installed after the pretreatment stage. After filtration and water-quality conditioning, silver-containing wastewater enters the membrane system.

Under operating pressure, water and certain low-molecular-weight substances pass through the membrane to form the permeate, while silver ions and other target substances are selectively retained and progressively concentrated. The process ultimately produces a high-concentration silver-rich solution for subsequent recovery.
