The company's independently developed invention patent, titled "A Specialty Nanofiltration Membrane Based on In-Situ Hydrothermal Transition Element Ion Insertion, Its Preparation Method and Applications," has received a notification from the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) confirming that the patent application has entered the substantive examination stage. This marks the formal progression of the technology into the substantive examination process for an invention patent.
The patent focuses on the material structure, preparation method and applications of specialty nanofiltration membranes. Its core technology involves the in-situ insertion of transition element ions into the membrane material, with the aim of developing more targeted membrane solutions for specific ion separation, selective transport and resource recovery. Based on this technology, YIME has further developed specialty membranes for gold, silver, copper and nickel ion applications, providing membrane-based solutions for the separation, concentration and resource recovery of metal-containing industrial wastewater.
Rather than remaining solely at the laboratory research stage, this series of specialty membrane technologies has already been applied in practical engineering projects. YIME has carried out projects involving online metal ion recovery, concentration and water reuse for electroplating, metal processing and related industrial wastewater treatment applications. The specialty membranes have been incorporated into actual treatment processes, with membrane elements, operating parameters and system configurations adjusted according to the characteristics of different metal ions and specific customer operating conditions. These practical applications have also provided valuable experience for further membrane material optimization and system engineering.
The entry of this patent application into the substantive examination stage represents an important step in YIME's continued development and practical application of specialty membrane technology. Going forward, the company will continue to focus on the selective separation and recovery of metal ions such as gold, silver, copper and nickel.
