Our ULP series ultra-low pressure industrial RO membrane elements are made from polyamide composite membrane materials, specifically designed for water treatment applications. Compared to traditional composite membranes, the operating pressure of the ULP series membrane elements is only two-thirds of that, which reduces energy consumption and equipment wear. This, in turn, lowers the investment costs for related pumps, pipelines, containers, and other equipment, as well as the operating costs of the reverse osmosis system, enhancing economic efficiency.
YIME-ULP-PW is available in two sizes: 8040 and 4040.

Product Performance and Operation Guidelines
- The water production rate listed in the table is an average value, with a deviation of up to 20% for each membrane element.
- During the initial use of the membrane element, the first hour of water production should be discarded.
- Water feed pressure should gradually increase within 30-60 seconds to avoid water hammer effects, as they may cause irreversible damage to the membrane element.
- At all times, backpressure on the permeate side must be avoided.
Storage and Maintenance Instructions
- Dry membrane elements are shipped without protective liquid. Once wetted, the membrane elements must always be kept moist.
- Membrane elements are tested with water before shipping and stored in a 1.5% sodium bisulfite solution (with 10% propylene glycol antifreeze added in winter), then vacuum-packed.
- For long-term system shutdown, to prevent microbial growth, it is recommended to immerse the membrane elements in a 1.5% (by weight) sodium bisulfite (food grade) protective solution and replace the protective solution regularly.
