1. Drain the pressure of the membrane group and the remaining water in the high-pressure pipe: Firstly, it is necessary to drain the pressure of the membrane group and the remaining water in the high-pressure pipe to ensure that there is no residual water interfering with the cleaning effect during the cleaning process.

2. Dismantling the membrane assembly: Next, dismantle all the inlet and outlet connectors of the module, remove the membrane assembly for subsequent cleaning operations.

3. Soaking and rinsing: Soak the membrane assembly in a specialized cleaning solution and remove the water side recovery device. Turn on the water source to rinse the surface of the membrane assembly, allowing it to soak in the cleaning solution as much as possible, which helps to remove pollutants attached to the membrane surface.

4. Select cleaning method: Choose the appropriate cleaning method based on the status and usage of the module. The cleaning methods can be divided into physical cleaning, chemical cleaning, and high-pressure water cleaning.

4-1. Physical cleaning: Usually, water flow flushing, vibration, or ultrasonic waves are used to remove pollutants from the surface of the membrane.

4-2. Chemical cleaning: includes two methods: acid washing and alkali washing. Acid washing uses acidic cleaning agents such as hydrochloric acid (HCl) or sulfuric acid (H2SO4), while alkaline washing uses alkaline cleaning agents such as sodium hydroxide (NaOH). These cleaning agents can dissolve or decompose pollutants on the surface of the membrane, restoring its permeability.

4-3. High pressure water cleaning: Use high-pressure water flow to flush the membrane to remove stubborn dirt on the surface of the membrane.

5. Cleaning solution discharge and rinsing: After the cleaning process is completed, the cleaning solution is discharged and the module is rinsed with clean water to ensure that all cleaning agents are thoroughly removed.

6. Reinstall and Run: Finally, reinstall the membrane assembly into the reverse osmosis equipment for normal operation.
