Industrial wastewater refers to the water, sewage, and waste liquids generated during industrial production processes. It contains raw materials, intermediate products, final products, and pollutants lost along with the water flow. With the rapid development of industries, the types and quantities of wastewater have been increasing rapidly, causing increasingly widespread and serious pollution of water bodies and posing a significant threat to human health and safety. For environmental protection, industrial wastewater treatment is even more critical than urban sewage treatment.
Usage Method of High-Concentration Heavy Metal Capturing Agent:
- Before actual use, a small-scale test (1L) can be conducted based on the above-mentioned process.
- Adjust the pH value of the wastewater to 7–10 for optimal performance.
- Determine the dosage of TMT95 based on the concentration of heavy metal ions in the wastewater.
- Add the agent continuously or in batches to the wastewater, ensuring thorough mixing for about 30 minutes.
- Add an appropriate amount of organic flocculant, which can be nonionic, strongly cationic, or strongly anionic. Perform fast stirring followed by slow stirring.
- Filter and separate the precipitate; the filtered water will meet discharge standards.
- Depending on the actual situation, alkali neutralization can be used first to remove most heavy metal ions, and the remaining metal ions can then be precipitated as metal complexes.
